As the news surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to intensify we want to provide you with some information related to actions we have taken and actions you can take. These events may cause us fear and anxiety; however Scripture reminds us that God has given us a spirit of love, not fear. (2 Timothy 1:7). It is our prayer that we would sense peace through these circumstances. We want to be responsible in working together to serve our church and community while demonstrating trust in our God who is in control of all things.
Based on the Temporary Restraining Order issued on May 16th by Federal Judge Jim Dever, NC churches are now allowed to meet indoors while continue to “observe the Recommendations to Promote Social Distancing and Reduce Transmissions to the extent practicable."
With this being the case, our doors will be open at 10:30 am to anyone willing to join us for worship. Here are a few points to consider:
We will also be sharing our Sunday Worship Service via LIVE STREAMING as well as Facebook. If you are not ready to return to service in-person, please tune in at 10:30 a.m. as we worship our Lord. We also are encouraging Sunday School classes to hold virtual classes using the ZOOM app to keep your small groups connected.
In addition, please join us for two distinctly different podcasts on Wednesday evenings:
- Dinner with PJ Nasty (https://www.youtube.com/cjstev1)
- Wednesday Night Connections (CBC Kannapolis YouTube Channel)
You may give your offering online at: OFFERING VIA PUSHPAY
We will provide further updates to changes in our normal practices as needed or as advised by health authorities. Should you have further questions please contact our office by phone at 704.933.8006 or by e-mail at INFO@CBCKANNAPOLIS.COM.
