Coronavirus update for March 18-22

Coronavirus Update

Information Updated March 17, 2020.

As the news surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to intensify we want to provide you with some information related to actions we have taken and actions you can take.  These events may cause us fear and anxiety; however Scripture reminds us that God has given us a spirit of love, not fear. (2 Timothy 1:7). It is our prayer that we would sense peace through these circumstances.  We want to be responsible in working together to serve our church and community while demonstrating trust in our God who is in control of all things.

As you may have seen in the news, Governor Cooper signed Executive Order No. 117, on March 14, 2020, making it mandatory to stop all mass gatherings over 100 people.   In accordance with this order, we will making some changes to how we gather.

We will have Sunday School on March 22 as normal, beginning at 9:30 a.m.  After Sunday School, we will have 3 rooms setup to view the Live Steam, allowing the congregation to watch together, but maintaining under 100 people in each room.  The choir will be singing Sunday morning during Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.

If you choose to join us in person - great!  But if you do not feel comfortable, we will still host the service on our LIVE STREAMING as well as Facebook.  Please tune in at 10:30 a.m. as we worship our Lord.

You may give your offering online at:  OFFERING VIA PUSHPAY

We will provide further updates to changes in our normal practices as needed or as advised by health authorities.  Should you have further questions please contact our office by phone at 704.933.8006 or by e-mail at INFO@CBCKANNAPOLIS.COM.
